Marc back at it again. . . . .=)
Marc Jacobs is a genius designer, especially with accessories. This bag on bag design has already made the rounds this season, but I love the way he changes it up with little details like the frog closure on the smaller bag and the colorful, sewn guitar strap. The bag on bag design is so creative, I don't think it's ever been done. I love how Marc creates a signature look in his collections without having labels all over the place. This handbag is canvas and the attached smaller bag is quilted leather.

Sometimes I think Louis Vuitton is the most arrogant of brands. For example, this hideous handbag is simple canvas with leather trim and they want $2,420 for it, just because it has the name Louis Vuitton on it. Pu-leeze. This bag has absolutely no redeeming quality, the straps are way too long and the "message" trend is silly. Don't misunderstand, I do love some of the great runway LV bags, but this is just an insult to my fashion and financial senses. This handbag probably cost about $30-$40 in materials, and $25 in construction. Even for a Louis Vuitton, it should be priced about $800.

Covered in vanilla-hued crystals and flower detail, it is a small bag which will stow only the most tiny of accessories -- a credit card, lip gloss and perhaps a key. Retailing at $4,295, it is probably the most expensive cupcake in the world.
